“Turning Knowledge into Melody.”

Have you ever caught yourself humming a song while doing something else? Like singing the quadratic formula song in your head as you paint or run? For me, music was a method to help me memorize something complex, like the periodic table. Putting tunes into words and adding rhythms to the monotonic lines brought the sentences to life, because music transformed the boredom of long paragraphs into something tangible for me to grasp. Whether the songs I conjured randomly out of my head made sense didn’t matter. The fact that it helped me break down, understand, and retain information did.

I knew music was in everyone’s hearts. Regardless of one’s expertise, music has connected everyone throughout the past and continues to bring people together. Therefore, I wanted to create a space that incorporated both science and music to foster lifelong love for learning.
